Our dynamic in recharging has changed
Up until a year ago
We energize with simply exist
Silent conversations
Understanding through sight of each other

And i go for college
Then we realize
We need more than just a presence
Started with simple touch
My feet touching yours when we talk
Our body flush when we have quiet time
No matter
We found reasons to keep connected

Years passed
We're growing to be another people
Not necessarily better
Or wiser
But life certainly taught us one
